feeling creative

Not too bad.

Woke up at a reasonable time today. I still didn't sleep quite enough, but I'm getting there. I guess I'm settling in with the idea of a move. In fact, I lay in bed feeling excited about my new place. All good signs. I sent a request to a moving company yesterda and hopefully I will hear back today!

I feel very loosey-goosey, arty-farty today. I don't feel upset to be going to my job, but I'm listening to an interview on the radio with an Ottawa guy who is a successful novelist and I just listened to a review of Br!ght Star (which I really, really want to see).

I'd be happy just being able to stay home to do some drawing and knitting. Alas, this will not be my day.

I suppose that that's all I wanted to report.

I just started the second sleeve of my sweater. I'm closing in on you, Anna!!!

Of course, with the 4-ply it is taking a long time. It will be another couple of weeks, likely, before I get the whole thing done and finished properly. I will show you a pic when I do. And then I start on the next one (a short sleeved top).

I got my yarn in the mail yesterday for the scarf and hat that I am going to make this winter. They are sooooo lovely. Lovely lilac kids!lk haze and kid cl@ssic from Row@n. They will be so cozy and will spruce up my plain black coats. Come to think of it, I really don't want to go to work. :)

Well, I'm meandering. Perhaps I'll try to go to work early for a change.
