I worked late and have my self-respect back!

Getting something done always helps me.

I feel happy to embrace being human today. I am human and have feelings. I am glad that I am not denying them. Were I denying them I would have been likely to go on vacation and come back in the same place I was before. I don't think that this will happen this time. I know it sounds really lame, but I would be worried if I didn't have these feelings for M. And wouldn't life be boring if we never risked our feelings? I love it!

Ah sigh. I am a bore.

I bought a bottle of wine to celebrate feeling more chipper! I'm going to pour a glass.

I read the quote below today. Do you not agree? I don't think it could be more true.

And maybe coffee with a cute 26 year-old is just coffee with a 26 year-old.

(Though it feels dirty, I must say. :)) I'm going to refer you to Aunt Fifi with her "trying on dresses" philosophy, if you have any questions. She's my "spiritual" guide. ;-) Well, really, she often is so. :) Love to you all!

I'm listening to some dude on the radio right now suggesting that one way to deal with the swine flu risk is to socially isolate yourself. Done! ;-) Actually, lately I've found that I have more friends at work than I had thought. Particularly women. I like this. I just need to accept their invitations to do things so that I can meet some new people in a general sense!
