Reasons to be chipper. There are some.

Hey dudes,

I woke up this morning feeling very cheery. I was in the shower lathering up and feeling cheery. I poured my cereal feeling cheery.

And then I heard someone on the radio say something about something being a good thing to do on a Thursday night.

Doh!

It's Thursday, not Friday.

Nevertheless...

There was disappointing news about the government cancelling our national portrait gallery. Not that surprising from that government. But we're very likely to have an election soon...

There's a lot of interesting stuff coming up, actually. Tonight the now "portrait program" is offering a film screening of a film about Karsh.

Kar3n Armstrong is coming to Ottawa October 14. Did I mention that? I find her incredibly interesting.

I'll have to show you the sewing patterns that I bought yesterday. I think I'm going to start with a skirt this weekend. Or maybe a dress. I don't know. Fun, no?
