And time strolls on.

It's grey outside but they swear that it's going to go up to 27 degrees!!

I hope to take a walk to Parliament today at lunch, if things aren't too busy. I'm trying to get into a routine. Even though I don't have to go in early, I'm going to try to get to work a bit early so that I don't always stay so late. Good plan, yes?

I realized this morning as I was in the shower that I'm feeling a bit bored right now, plain and simple. I love my private activities but I need to find some people I can relate to. I'm not very interested in the people around me in Ottawa at the moment. Nice, but not interesting.

Not sure what to do. Perhaps I should sign up for a drawing class that starts next Thursday. I'm trepidatious as I've heard bad things about the school. Will think about it today.

I hate saying, "I'm bored." I think it's a stupid thing to be. I have always been able to entertain myself and find things to enjoy in life. It's the being hemmed in by the busy job, 9-7, I think, that makes it tough. Oh and the environment. Because the jobs here are stable, everyone here is pregnant. It's all young families. That's great - for them - but not very interesting for me. I'm stuck in a bit of limbo.

OH well. Another day, another dollar. Another day, another bit of experience leading towards the next big leap in my life (whenever that will come). I need to keep my head down and keep on learning and taking advantage of the pluses of my situation.

I think I should try to pump myself up into the expectation that something special and fun will happen today. I suppose you just never know.
