Note to friends

Not that I really need to say this - I think you guys know what I am all about - but the last couple of entries have nothing to do with any of you. (And maybe I'll delete them!) They have to do with me figuring out that this whole episode of the last few weeks is about me working out the anger that I have over the career that I chose. I chose it because I was struggling to be something in opposition to my mother, and because I didn't feel I had the freedom to be something I would like. It never crossed my mind.

So I'm angry and figuring it out and struggling with it and all of the rest...and it really doesn't matter and there's no blame. It's a beautiful thing, this diary. I can be angry and emotional and irrational and joyful and exuberant...all in one place.

PS I just had carrots for breakfast. Just because. It's great being an adult, in the sense of having liberty to make choices, isn't it?
