Another work week begins...

You know, it really feels like punishment to have to go to work today!

One of these days, I really am going to take a "sick" day for the first time.

I was thinking about it for today, actually, but C. and I have to go and buy some camping equipment for our canoe camping trip next weekend tonight, so it would feel truly inappropriate. Perhaps tomorrow I'll find a gentle migraine.

Obviously I did some very makeshift "collages" this weekend, but it felt SOO good just to have that churning, thinking wheel ground to a halt. I need to buy some glue so that I can actually glue things all over, and if I remember correctly one is supposed to glaze over a collage, non?
Either way, I think I'll try to force myself to take more pieces and try to make something more full-bodied.

I really don't know how I'm going to do economics today. That's the tragedy of enjoying books, film and creative activities - it makes tobits seem like nothing less than the unbloomed.

I should walk to work. Buy myself a nice coffee. Try to make it pretty. :)
