gum trees and Sunday runs

An odd thing often happens to me when I look out the skylight in my kitchen. I see a tree that is not but that reminds me of the top of a gum tree (the one with the rounded top to the right of the photo :)). And instantaneously I am back in Australia, running through the bush with S.

I'll post a picture of the moon viewed through the skylight this evening, if I remember to do so.

I've been sort of hopelessly unproductive today so I'm going to force myself to go out to read the paper and to do some minor shopping. :)
