I've had a few drinks; please forgive me. Good grief I'm starting to sound like a lush.

OMG.

For culotte: "Ugly" guy just wrote me a note begging me back.

As if!

OK. So I'm smirking and feeling self-satisfied.

Life is so, so strange.

And I have coffee scheduled with Larry in nine hours. Better get my beauty sleep. And I have nothing to wear!

It's truly sad that I childishly haven't grown beyond wanting to na-na-na-na-na my exes. Isn't it?

It's also sad, I believe, that someone at the dinner party tonight pointed out to me that this weekend is not a regular weekend, but rather a long weekend. And I've only lived and worked in Canada for, like, two-thirds of my life! And Queen Victoria's birthday has always been celebrated at this time! And we used even to mark the day with fireworks (when I was a child)! And 24-packs of beer around a campfire when I was a little bit older (the Canadian way, sadly, though I've outgrown that). :)

Off to bed. It is LATE. But I have a three-day weekend upcoming.
