baking and phone calls from Europe are among my favourite things
You know, whenever I get down, all I have to remember is that C. loves me. He's always there for me, like a brother, and I know that he will never let me down (nor I him). I'm lucky.
And someone gave me a cupcake today. A girl in my lab and I were talking and I told her I was feeling downcast. She proceeded to offer me a cupcake. I mean, really, how could one's day not be improved by the addition of a cupcake? :)
